Grooming Policy agreements


Basic Requirements

•Pet owner MUST be present to specify service requested
•Owner must agree to our terms and conditions before we can provide any services
•Current Pet Vaccination Card
•Place to park
•Power Outlet

 

Fleas or Ticks:

Any pet found to have fleas and or ticks will be charged an additional $17 dollars extra for flea/tick shampoo, and for me to treat my vehicle.  This is done to keep the grooming experience royal without the unwanted pests. It is your responsibility to keep your pet on flea and tick prevention. I would gladly recommend all the various and best medications on the market. One way would be by Keeping your pet on a regular grooming schedule (once a month) this can be a way to help you keep track of their flea/tick prevention.

Royalty Unleashed Mobile Pet Spa May Cancel Appointment:

On rare occasions, Royalty Unleashed Mobile  Pet Spa may need to cancel appointments due to weather, sickness,  road conditions, equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to contact you in advance to reschedule.

Cancellations:

Please call 24-48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are unable to keep it.  If you are a "no show" there will be a $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE fee to cover the charges for my gas/trip fee, which will be due via phone payment with credit card before Royalty Unleashed will book another appointment for you. Failure to pay said fee will result in the termination of services and your pet will be removed from my schedule permanently.

Aggressive pets:

I will attempt to do a pet one time if deemed to be to aggressive. If pet becomes a danger to itself or me, I will return the pet to owner at FULL charge for the appointment finished or unfinished.  Please note that I will get as much of the groom done as possible. However, I do not want any animal to cause injury to itself or me.  I strive to be as safe as possible when grooming all pets.  I can not sedated pets. I am not equipped with the proper medical equipment if something goes wrong with the sedation. It is best that a veterinarian handle pets that must be sedated. They have the proper medical equipment needed if an emergency were to arise..

Matted Pets:

I am aware that neglect of my pets coat can be a cause for problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation.  If my pet is wiggly or doesn’t remain still during the grooming procedure accidents can happen such as cuts, nicks, etc from clippers or scissors.

I am aware that if my pet’s coat is matted  my options are:

1.  If I want to save coat, but do not want to pay for de-mat charges, I will brush out the coat & Royalty Unleashed Mobile Pet Spa will return at a later date to groom my pet, however I will incur a $30 service fee, as fuel was expended to come to my location.

2.  I will let Royalty Unleashed Mobile Pet Spa brush out my pet if possible & safe, at a fee of $1 per minute, or a minimum charge of  $20 in addition to my regular grooming fee.

3.  My pet will receive a shave down & start over (additional fee for shave down.) Closely shaved pets are also prone to sunburn & should either have sun screen applied daily or should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows sufficiently to protect the skin. In some cases pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. In certain breeds & coat types, the coat may not grow back the same. As the owner, I am responsible for the condition of my pet’s coat & I will not hold Royalty Unleashed Mobile Pet Spa responsible in the event of adverse effects of mat removal and/or shaving.

If I choose this option, but would like the keep my pets ears & tail longer I understand that I must pay a minimum de-mat fee (in addition to regular grooming fee & shave down fee) to keep them long.

Procedures:

Please have your pet ready to go at the scheduled appointment time. This includes making sure they have been out to use the restroom.  If you have a cat please make sure they are in a crate when I arrive.  Also, please make sure the crate has a towel or pee pad in the bottom of the crate just in case of any accidents.
It is best not to feed the pet before grooming (a treat or something light is ok, just not a full feeding). This is because some pets may get nervous and vomit.

For your pets safety, it is best if the pet is left alone with the groomer.  Pets can be easily distracted by their owner during the grooming process as it is easier on them to focus on one person than multiple people. In the event that I need help with the pet, I will come get you or call you from the RV. For the safety of our furry friends, PLEASE DO NOT BANG, KNOCK ON THE WINDOWS, OR OPEN THE DOOR TO THE RV while I am grooming your pet. If you have any questions or need to reach me while I am grooming your pet, it is best to call me. I may also have your pet loose on the floor of the RV, and if the door was to be opened the pet could escape
